CBS Films has released the trailer for film adaptation of Paul Torday‘s comic novel, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. We’ve embedded the trailer in the video above–what do you think?
Torday won the Bollinger Everyman Wodehouse Prize for the novel in 2007. Director Lasse Hallström helmed this project. The film stars Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt.
Here’s more from Deadline: “CBS Films picked up Salmon Fishing In The Yemen as a possible awards contender after it premiered at Toronto in the fall, but the distributor decided it was too late for the tale of Middle East politics and fly-fishing to enter this year’s Oscar race. It instead has set it for a limited-run release March 2, 2012.” (via Shelf Awareness)
