Last evening Random House New Zealand honoured and toasted its authors and other creatives at a marvellous early Christmas celebration at Auckland's Westhaven Marina. The Bookman was something of an interloper at the gathering but nevertheless felt honoured and delighted to be present.Photo above left- The watery view from the charming Ponsonby Cruising Club which is almost right under the Harbour Bridge – such a quintessentially Auckland scene.
