Photobook Show at Create Studios in Brighton

White Fungus will be part of the exhibition Photobook Show C at Create Studios in Brighton. Photobookshow, is a Brighton-based (UK) arts organisation set up to raise the profile of artist-led photobooks. Established to raise the profile of these publications through exhibitions, talks, workshops, and the formation of a public photobook archive the next Brighton based Photobookshow ‘C’ will be in Brighton held at Create Studios. The show will run over the weekend of the 18th and 19th August, before touring to set up show ‘D’ at the Finish Museum of Photography in Helsinki. Over a hundred different books from various artists will be showcased at the shows in Brighton and Helsinki. While the photobooks shown will also be archived to view online, the aim of the shows is to give visitors a valuable chance to get hands-on with the books. On Saturday 18 August a panel discussion will be held in Brighton at the venue, organised by Brighton based photographer Jim Stephenson. In Helsinki, a panel discussion and artist talk will be held at the venue on Saturday 1 September, organised in collaboration with Photo Do.
