NZ publisher Gecko Press is proud to announce:

I Am So Strong is a finalist in the 6th Annual ReadBoston Best Read Aloud Book Award.  

ReadBoston is a nonprofit children’s literacy program in the US, founded by Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino. Its mission is to ensure that all children can read at grade level by the end of the third grade.

There are 10 finalists that have been selected by a committee (local literacy experts, parents, and booksellers) and tested on children between the ages of 4 and 8. 

The winner will be announced in early May.
