Hi guys, It's that time of year again – we're about to hit the big run up to Christmas. So here on the site, we've pulled together all of our favourite festive recipes in one place, plus lots of hints, tips and ideas to get you inspired with your gift-buying and preparations for the big day. We've also got a bunch of great suggestions if you're entertaining friends or just want a cracking night out. Keep an eye out for my new two-part show, Jamie's Christmas with Bells On, which will air on Channel 4 here in the UK, starting on Wednesday 14 December at 9pm. We've got the essentials completely sorted to make your Christmas lunch as easy as possible, plus loads of brilliant new retro recipes, from turkey chowder to Marathon semifreddo. I guarantee if you knock up a few of these dishes, you'll have smiles all round the table. There's also a fantastic recipe pack in my Jamie's Recipes app to go with it, with the added bonus of step-by-step photography for every recipe. And if you've got any questions about Christmas, log on to the forums, and I'll do my best to answer anything that keeps cropping up. Finally, I wanted to say a big thank you for the feedback on Jamie's Great Britain. Both the show and the book have gone down a storm, which for me, just goes to show how lovely this island of ours is. Big love, Jamie O xx |
