This month sees the 350th anniversary of the official adoption of the Book of Common Prayer in 1662.

 

 



 

Last year we celebrated the 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible. This year the history buffs and antiquarians are in joyful mood because it is the 350th anniversary

Today is the 350th anniversary of the Great Ejection of the Puritans from the Church of England.

 



1662 may have been a significant year for the Book of Common Prayer. It was not, however, a good year for those to whom the gospel and a good conscience were more precious than
