Foyles has today (12th November) opened a pop-up bookshop at Central Saint Martins in London to seize on key Christmas trade.The outlet is based at the Granary Building, 1 Granary Square and will be open until 17th December.
Five square metres in size, the store stocks books relating to exhibitions alongside a curated range of art, fashion and photography titles, as well as relevant texts for student courses.
It will also have easy access to the stock holding of Foyles at nearby St Pancras.
Sam Husain, Foyles' c.e.o., said: "Central St Martins students have been coming through the doors of Foyles on Charing Cross Road for years and are an integral part of our history. We're pleased that now, in a small way, that can continue."
Peter Cleak, events and gallery manager at Central Saint Martins said: "We are delighted to have Foyles on site. We were neighbours for decades, it is a fitting reunion."
The pop-up shop will be open Monday-Friday from 10–6 p.m. and Saturday 10–4 p.m. and will reopen for the spring term. Foyles' divisional manager Susan Sinclair is managing the bookshop.
