The finalists in the NZ Book Awards' Poetry category are posted on Tuesday Poem this week in celebration of National Poetry Day this coming Friday - three great poems from three great writers: Dinah Hawken, Anna Jackson and Rhian Gallagher, selected by Andrew M. Bell.
And Tuesday Poem also farewells the great Margaret Mahy who died in Christchurch yesterday: the linked Booksellers NZ blog has posted The Fairy Child as a tribute to a remarkable writer who has touched so many around the world.
