This month, I'm thrilled to be able to tell you officially about my next book and TV series, Jamie's 15-Minute Meals, which has just been announced in the press. I've been working on it with my team since last summer and I can't wait for you guys to see it — this is seriously fast, no-nonsense cooking, with meals that don't compromise on flavour. I've done all the hard work for you — editing and testing over and over — to get these meals in perfect shape. They're all nutritionally sound as well, so they can be cooked and eaten everyday. The book hits the shops in late September and the series will be on Channel 4 soon after so look out for more on all that soon. The whole country is gearing up for the Olympics now and hopefully you've had a chance to see the Olympic Torch Relay somewhere on its journey. Look out for me pounding the streets of Essex through the village where I went to school this month, and some of the lovely Fifteen graduates will be taking over in London — check out who's running where and when, so you can come along and show your support. Finally, I want to tell you about a wicked new experience we're launching with Fabulous Feasts that is a must for all London's sightseers and food lovers. From September you'll be able to go for a lovely cruise down the Thames on a beautiful yacht, the Silver Sturgeon, while tucking into a delicious meal that celebrates brilliant British produce and embraces cuisines from all over the world. Check out the website for more details and book soon! Have a fantastic month and, if you're lucky enough to have a ticket, enjoy the Olympics! Big love, Jamie O xx |
