Kate Mosse, co-founder and honorary director of the Orange Prize for Fiction is "in active discussions with a number of potential new sponsors" after Orange announced it is to withdraw its funding after 17 years. She added that the prize "has put millions into the book market". The final "Orange" winner is announced next week.
