I was asked by the Christchurch Writers' Festival and The Press to decorate a terracotta flower pot which is on display at the Ellerslie Flower Show and which is being auctioned for charity on Trade Me.The auction includes a rare signed hardback copy of The Sound of Butterflies, and the pot itself has been decorated with the book in mind:
letters from the Amazon and weird and wonderful creepy crawlies. I poured a lot of love into it!
The proceeds go to my heroes, Gap Filler, who are colouring the rubble and bringing life to Christchurch's vacant lots.
