24 Mar 1996: Memorial to Dr. John Gerstner

We well remember the teaching, energy, scholarship, massive vocabulary, mastery of systematic and ecclesiastical history, and willingness to engage students. He was a "force" in the pulpit and behind the lectern.  To watch him was, at times, funny.  To hear him was always to learn.  Semper Fi, Dr. Gerstner, you were a benchmark for theological Marines.
