Welcome to this year’s Chiswick Book Festival. We hope you’ll want to make a weekend of it, from Friday September 14th to Sunday 16th - with a special pre-Festival event with Michael Palin at Chiswick House on Thursday September 13th.

The full programme is on our 2012 Programme page. To keep up to date with the latest Festival developments, visit our News page.
Now in its fourth year, the Festival is one of west London’s literary highlights.
This year’s stellar line up includes A.N.Wilson, Cressida Cowell, Jeremy Vine, Michael Palin, Clare Balding, Antony Beevor, M.C.Beaton, Anne Sebba, Lawrence Norfolk, Kate Colquhoun, Sophie Hannah, Stav Sherez, Mike Marshall, Andy Briggs, Rose Prince, Simon Brett, Julia Gregson, Lucinda Riley, Adam Smith, India Knight and more.
There’s a full morning of events for children.
The Festival is hosted by St Michael & All Angels Church, near Turnham Green tube station, with other events at the Tabard Theatre and Chiswick House & Gardens, which have generously donated their premises for the occasion. We get great support from Waterstones, who sell the authors’ books at their shop in Chiswick High Road and at the Festival; Savills, the main sponsor, and other supporters.

The Festival is a non-profit-making, community event. It raises money for the three charities below, all related to reading, and the work of St Michael & All Angels which hosts the Festival:
