Sailing is one of those sports that gets into people's blood. Each story in the book provides some insight into what it takes to become a sailor (and a good person): from the preparation, training, and boat cleaning to how to avoid disaster on the high seas or in life.

I love books that all ages can enjoy to read and learn from. Sailing/adventures are one of my favorite genres read. My top most favorite that my whole family has liked is a book called Chasing Sunsets, by Lawrence Pane. It is a true-life reality show, featuring real people in real, but extraordinary situations. An amazing book that would highly compliment all other sailing stories.
